A California Highway Patrol officer was shot and critically wounded Monday, June 13. The officer was shot shortly before 8 p.m. in the Studio City area after stopping a car and was taken to a hospital. The man accused of shooting and critically injuring the officer during a traffic stop has been taken into custody.
The male officer is 27 years old and has been with the agency for slightly less than a year.
His name has not been released yet, but all funds donated will go directly to him and his family.
