On October 16, 2022, at approximately 0032 hours, Officer Aaron Weikert, ID 20261, was at the scene of a fatal crash on Stockton Boulevard, south of Florin Road. While outside his patrol car, a driver struck Officer Weikert causing major injuries. The driver was detained at the scene. Officer Weikert was transported to a local hospital. Officer Weikert is currently in the intensive care unit being treated for his injuries.
